Hola a Todos,

se que muchos de vosotros han sido leyendo mis artículos y probando Domino server en Ubuntu, así que he decidido de hacer la vida más fácil a los administradores de sistema (como yo ;-) y he creado un paquete debian que hace todas la configuraciones necesarias para la instalación de Domino.

Esto es un primer paso ya que tengo planeado hacer una imagen iso del cd de Ubuntu Server personalizada de manera que haga todo en automático. Para eso el problema mayor que encuentro no es hacer el cd sino es encuentrar un servidor donde ponerla, ya que los sitios que alojan proyectos OpenSource se niegan en aceptar distribuciones de sistema operativos porqué necesitan más espacio disco y ancho de banda, es decir el mismo problema que tengo yo.

Roverex es un proyecto Open Source así que si queréis contribuir estaré encantado, cualquier comentario/duda/prueba será apreciada y en este momento se necesita traducir el paquete en castellano. Si además alguien en el ESLUG tiene suficiente espacio disco y ancho de banada para alojar la imagen iso por favor que se ponga en contacto conmigo, hará un favor muy grande a la recien nacida comunidad de Roverex.

Hi Everybody,

I know that many of you were reading and following my articles about Domino installation on Ubuntu servers, so I decided to make system administrator's file even easier by making a roverex-dserver package which will do all the Ubuntu configuration part automatically.

This is the first step, because I am planning to provide a full iso cd image that it will be a customized Ubuntu Server which during the installation process will make few steps automatized, including the roverex-dserver package. Main problem for this is not about making the cd but it is were to host it. Open Source hosting sites right now refuse to host complete distribution as this is disk space and bandwidth consuming, which exactly the same problem that I have.

Roverex is an open source project so anyone that want to contribute is very welcome, any feedback/testing will be appreciated and right now there's need for a Spanish translator. In addition of that if someone in the SLUG group have sufficient disk space and bandwidth to host the iso image please contact me, that it will be a huge help for our (wannabe) Roverex community.
