Thanks all for your help. I had the widgets panel active but the solution was:

Rigth click -> "Reconocer todo el contenido" (Recognize all content) to start working with Live Text. I still have no options at preferences but as Ian said I should publish some widgets in a widget catalog to perform fine actions with Live Text.

Your comments have been very useful. Many thanks. Albert

This happened to me too. A warning stating, "no widgets have been enabled employing live text yet" would help, eh?

Hi,

Have you actually created any live text widgets yet? That dialog box allows you to switch them on and off only.

If you don't have any defined then nothing will show up there.

Go to the widgets section of preferences and select "Show Widgets toolbar and sidebar".

After that you can create a live text widget clicking the little jigsaw icon in the toolbar.

It shouldn't matter about language - you can get the feature to recognise any text combinations. The actual live text should be language agnostic.

As Simon says, you'll need to create some widgets and place them in a widget catalog before you'll see anything

Forgot to add. Here is example walkthrough of creating a live text widget.

If your still having issues with it, can you give us more details or open a PMR. Thanks a lot.
