Join the Lotus Technical Information and Education (LTIE) community for the first ever Blackberry Jam
On Tuesday, March 30, the Lotus Information Development Center is hosting a "BlackBerry Jam" on several Lotus product Wikis. We invite all BlackBerry users in the LTIE community to share their tips, tricks, and best practices for using Lotus products on their beloved BlackBerries. Lotus and RIM (Research In Motion, maker of the BlackBerry devices) are working together to make more content available, so this is your opportunity to help us define the content areas on which to focus.
The Lotus Connections, Quickr, Sametime, and Notes/Domino wikis will be ready for your contributions on Jam day. Just look for the "BlackBerry" category link. We will have a Sametime chat  available on BlackBerry Jam day. We'll be standing by for your comments and questions. Stop by and say hi!
We have some incentives for you. We will have some great new BlackBerry content ready for you when you stop by. And don't forget about WikiMadness - people who contribute content as part of BlackBerry Jam will also be eligible for the WikiMadness giveaway sponsored by external LTIE community members Chris Toohey and David Leedy.

Calling for usability participants

Do you use Lotus technical content or our online communities? Do you have opinions about them? Be heard! The Lotus Information Development Center is now scheduling participants for usability evaluations and we want your feedback! We'll be conducting roundtable sessions on: 1) how we can improve our Lotus online community experience (forums, wikis, etc.), and 2) Lotus Domino Administrator Help. The evaluations will be conducted in April. One roundtable will last 90 minutes and will be done remotely, so anyone can participate! If you are interested in participating, please send an e-mail to lotusdoc@us.ibm.com, provide your e-mail address and the usability evaluation(s) you would like to participate in, and we will contact you. This is a great opportunity to get your thoughts and opinions heard. Your feedback and suggestions will help drive changes to our technical content and online community experience. Also, stay tuned for future usability evaluations that we will be conducting throughout the year if you can't participate at this time. We look forward to working with you!

Use IdeaJam to share your ideas for improving our online community spaces

Looking for another way to provide feedback on our online community spaces? You're invited to participate in our online community IdeaJam, going on now through April. Tell us how we can improve the usability of our online product wikis, forums, and Lotus developerWorks Product pages, especially what we can do to make these spaces work together better. To "Join the Jam," log on to the Lotus Technical Information IdeaSpace and post your ideas under the Lotus Technical Information - Community category. Remember to vote on others' ideas too to help us gauge their popularity. Thanks for participating!
